Official League Registration
The Registration process has changed significantly for 2018 and beyond. The number of required paper documents has been substantially reduced and migrated to an online process that can be completed on almost any internet-connected device (computer, phone, or tablet).
Player and Cheerleader Registration
All players/participants are required to provide the current YFF Registration Form along with a copy and the original verifying document. This information will be provided directly to the member organization/team the parent has chosen for their child(ren) to join. They must all then complete the online registration process as defined. Players should be prepared to register with the Federation and participate in the Federation's scheduled official registration/weigh-in sessions.
Official Registration Sessions
The official registration session will be scheduled by the Federation in accordance with registration processes designed by the Federation’s Registration Staff. If a player is not completed registered by the final session, then he/she will not be allowed to play. Under no circumstances can a player play in a sanctioned Federation game/event without going through the official registration process. Illegal participation by a player not officially registered by the Federation will result in a forfeit of any games played AND a substantial fine to the member organization.

Texas State ID Card
We are transitioning to usage of Texas State IDs, Military IDs, and/or U.S. Passports as the standard form of player verification. Please consider acquiring the proper credential as soon as feasibly possible. Possessing one of these forms of identification greatly reduces registration concerns.

Original Birth Certificates - PARENTS

Because an original birth certificate is required for our proof of age requirement, we have partnered with a US Birth Certificate service in Austin, Texas to assist parents with acquiring this vital information in a quick fashion for Texas. Members of other sports programs or adults may also use our service to obtain birth certificates as well. This is a service generally needed by everyone at some point for school, athletic/sports programs, employment eligibility, etc.

Staff Registration
All League and Team staff members and volunteers must officially register with the Federation. This registration authorizes the Federation to perform a limited background check on the individual. Staff registration provides a staff badge granting access to all Federation games, and most other events and activities. Staff Fees are determined annually, and are non-refundable.
Organization/Team Registration
Each organization/team is required to receive all applicable registration forms from parents/participants and build team books of registration information. Copies of these books should be maintained by the organization/team for future use as needed. The official books are retained by the Federation until after March of the next year.
Federation Books
Please note that the League will maintain a complete original book of players (supplied by each organization) that shall include the following:
(1) Original Federation Registration Form (Must be signed by parent/guardian)
(2) Original and Copy of Age Verification Document * (originals reviewed at official registration sessions and returned)
(3) Current Participant Photograph (attached - original only)
(4) Copy of Most Recent Report Card (if using a birth certificate as the age verification document)
*** Cheerleaders are required to submit the league-provided registration form and a copy of their birth certificates or other verifying document.
